Dr. Grady Coon is a compassionate and highly skilled dentist dedicated to providing exceptional care to every patient he serves. A proud University of Michigan graduate, Dr. Coon completed his undergraduate studies in Ann Arbor before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.

After practicing as an associate dentist in Metro Detroit, Dr. Coon returned to his roots in southwestern Michigan. In 2004, he purchased his dental practice in Portage, MI—a move that allowed him to be closer to family, the community he grew up in, and the shores of Lake Michigan he’s always loved.

Known for his gentle approach and commitment to patient comfort, Dr. Coon has built a reputation for kindness, integrity, and clinical excellence. He believes every patient deserves respect and clear communication. He takes the time to explain procedures fully and works collaboratively with each individual to design treatment plans that best meet their needs and goals.

Outside the office, Dr. Coon enjoys golfing, boating, playing pickleball, cheering on his beloved Wolverines, and spending quality time with his wife, Amy, and their three children—Ava, Kendall, and Grant.
